Refund & Returns Policy

At Mordea Home, we want you to feel confident and inspired when shopping with us. If your order doesn’t quite meet your expectations, our team is here to help. Please review our return and refund guidelines below.

Items Eligible for Return

  • Items must be unused, unassembled, and in their original condition, with all original packaging, manuals, and tags.
  • Returns must be lodged within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Some exclusions apply: sale items, bulky goods, trade orders, special/custom orders, and international orders are not eligible for free returns. (e.g. return freight for bulky goods may range from $30–$70 depending on location).

How to Return Your Item

  1. Contact Mordea Home via email to support@mordeahome.com with subject titled “Return Item - #ordernumber (or include a copy of your order confirmation email).
  2. Please include photo’s and reason of return in body of email.
  3. Once reviewed, we will generate your return label and attach this to the replied email. Once received, print it, and attach it securely to your parcel.
  4. If you don’t have access to a printer, Australia Post can print the label for you.
  5. Drop your parcel at your nearest Australia Post outlet within 30 days of receiving your order.
  6. Note: The item remains your responsibility until it has been handed over at an Australia Post outlet. Please repackage items carefully to avoid damage in transit.

Change of Mind Returns

We believe in the quality of every piece we create. If your order doesn’t meet your expectations, we’re happy to offer a refund, provided the item is:

  • Returned unused, unassembled, and in original condition/packaging.
  • Lodged within 30 days of delivery.

Special/custom orders (including made-to-order items) are non-refundable for change-of-mind reasons.

Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care to ensure our products are of the highest quality. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or develops an issue:

  • Contact us at support@mordeahome.com within 7 days of delivery.
  • Include your order number, photos/videos of the issue, and whether you’d prefer a refund, repair, or replacement.
  • We’ll cover return shipping costs for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Incorrect or Missing Items

If you’ve received the wrong product or something is missing:

  • Email support@mordeahome.com with your order number, photos and details of the issue.
  • We’ll resolve this quickly by sending a replacement or processing a refund.

International Orders

Yes, we do accept returns from overseas customers. However:

  • International return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
  • Items must still meet our eligibility criteria (unused, unassembled, original packaging).
  • Please ensure returns are sent via a trackable courier service, as we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged parcels.

Refund Processing

  • Once your return has been received and inspected, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
  • Returns are processed within 1–2 business days of inspection.
  • Refunds are issued back to your original payment method. Please allow 3–10 business days (depending on your bank/payment provider) for funds to appear.
  • If the original payment method is no longer available, or if the purchase is older than 3 months, we can issue a credit note instead.

Cancelling an Order

  • If your order hasn’t yet shipped, you may cancel by emailing support@mordeahome.com.
  • If the order has already been dispatched, please follow the return process once it arrives.
